Woof River Animal Rescue is a volunteer run, 100% foster based 501c3 organization in Memphis, TN. Our mission is to save as many dogs and puppies as possible from high kill shelters and the streets in the South. Each and every dog lives as part of the family in a loving foster home until the perfect forever home is found.
An average of 1200 dogs a month are euthanized in the MidSouth. There are also countless dogs living on the streets without vet care or even shelter. These heartbreaking numbers are the fuel that keeps us working all day every day for free.
We serve all ages and breeds. We believe every dog deserves a chance at a warm, loving home every day of his life – and that new life starts with us!

SIGN UP FOR KROGER COMMUNITY REWARDS
Please help us reach our goal of 250 Kroger community rewards households by the end of the year. You can do this by simply inviting your family and friends to enroll in Kroger rewards and choose Woof River Animal Rescue as their charity. We then can receive quarterly donations from Kroger based on a percentage of purchases from the households that have us selected as the charity on their Kroger Card. Don’t forget to re-enroll annually in order for Woof River to continue receiving donations for your shopping.
